Obituary for Linda Kay Heck
Linda K. HeckLinda Kay Custer Heck, 59, of Winchester, Virginia, died Saturday, March 06, 2010 at the Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center in Winchester, VA.
Mrs. Heck was born in 1951 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Evelyn Parkinson Custer, and the late Edward L. Custer. She was a computer analyst for the IRS until her retirement, and was a graduate of Musselman High School.
Surviving with her mother of Winchester is a son, Jared Thomas Heck and his wife, Bindu, of Chicago, Illinois; a grandson, Nathan Jai Heck; two sisters, Barbara C. Wise, and her husband, Eugene of Winchester and Donna Sims and her husband, Randall of The Villages, Florida; two brothers, Larry Custer and his wife, Rachel of Inwood, West Virginia, and Richard Custer of Manassas, Virginia.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Monday, March 8 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Suite 405, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
