To my best friend in the world. 15 months later and I miss you like you left yesterday. I hope you know how much I love you and miss you. You are the first thing I think of and the last thing I think of every day. You saved my life and gave me a life. Rest easy until we meet again.

Carmen was a wonderful teacher and mentor to many. I have fond memories of her friendship and our chats back at the "Daytime Development Center" as she shared her thoughts on life, families, and our experiences as people. May calmness and peace surround her family and close friends and comfort Kris in this time of sorrow.
Jonathan left a message on February 18, 2017:
I cannot believe she is gone, but will definitely pray really hard for all of you. I remember her clearly. I would be happy to be one of your contacts.

Lighting a candle for you dear Carmen......your guidance, expertise and Tender, Loving Care lighted our way over all these years...... My son Matthew owes his successful beautiful life to your dedication and pure love! Thank you for all those you have touched, healed, and forever enriched. I am and will continue to be grateful for all the gifts of you and Kris all the days of my life!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
"Losang Dundrub (Matthew Gausman)" left a message on February 18, 2017:
DEATH BE THY SAVIOR When I go, thou shalt not fear. Look into a sunset, a snow-capped mountain peak, From these sights gain strength in my absence. Gaze into the sparkling eyes of a young boy. From this innocent child, gain courage in my absence. Behold the mighty roar of thunder and torrent of rain, the contented sigh of the earth after the storm. For these are nature's mysteries. Hear the cascade of waves, the sounds of unseen creatures, Feel the rhythms of your surroundings, For this is our earth eternal. As you revel in God's beauty, Listen to the wind, For this is the wind that I now ride. Listen to the wind, Listen close and think of me... It will be then, you will know I have not died. As you listen to the wind, you will see that I have been freed. By: Losang Dundrub (Matthew Arnold Gausman)

Terrie -- as the days pass, gradually we move towards the day when the comfort of our memories is greater than the sorry of our loss. Hugs and love to you and your family.

We will miss but never forget the many lessons taught by Carmen. One of the most important was how to be ok outside of our own comfort zone, you always pushed us to think, we are all better for having had you in our lives.
