My deepest sympathies to those who knew and cherished their time with Dallas. I was saddened to hear of his passing and surely we have lost one of the greatest personalities and truest spirits in this world. I will always remember his kindness and adventurousness, along with his smile, during our time together growing up while on the bus and at basketball games at school. Dallas was always happy and involved in things and truly an inspiration for those of us around him to do more and be better every day of our lives. I am a better person for having known him and only wish I could have reminisced with him before his passing, but I am glad he is now able to do all those things he had passion for and to guide us from above. I hope everyone can take a page from Dallas' book and live life to the fullest no matter what. Rest in peace my friend.
My sympathys be with you cousin Bobby. May you believe that God has a special place in his heavenly home for Dallas.

Dallas had a caring spirit, a beaming smile, a loving heart and was a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He may be gone from this world but never from our hearts and memories.
With deepest sympathy,

Dallas was a delightful young man. He had a beautiful smile and a positive attitude. He was always optimistic and determined to do well. His class adored him as did I. It was truly a pleasure and honor to know him and to be his third grade teacher.
I remember Dallas from school as early as elementary school and even at a young age I remember being amazed by his upbeat attitude despite his challenges...and how incredibly smart he was. Very sorry to hear he has passed.
Debbie and Bob, So sorry to hear your son Dallas has died. Know he is in the hands of our Lord. God's blessing to you and your family.

My daughter, Kelly Shively Moody, went through School and graduated with Dallas. I, too, remember him so well always had a smile that lit up the room. I remember him coming to Kellys 6th birthday party at our house. Thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family and many friends.
My fondest memory of Dallas was of him giving me rides on his scooter in my aunt's front yard when we were in elementary school. I will remember Dallas' unwavering tenacity for life and for that he will be truly be missed.
I remember Dallas on his scooter traveling down the halls of Aylor with that beautiful smile on his face. Those halls will never be the same
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
Will always love you son.
I remember Dallas from elementary school at Bass Hoover. Great friend and wonderful person. He will be missed and to his family his legacy will continue on. I feel so blessed to have met such a beautiful hearted man.
As the parent of Laura V. (Burcham) Straley, I remember Dallas vividly in my mind with that sweet smile. God bless all his family in this time of sorrow. My prayers are with you
Dallas was one of the smartest people I knew, he was kind and generous and fierce when it came to sports. He was a coach, a teammate, an inspiration and a great friend.
I have no memory as I did not know Dallas. However, please accept my deepest condolences to your family. It sounds as though he lived his life fully and with very little boundaries even with the obstacles placed before him. He truly sounds like quite an amazing young man and I wish I would have known him as I'm sure my life would have richly been blessed just as those have spoke so highly that did. God bless your family during this most difficult time.
He was a wonderful blessing from God. Every time I saw him in school he always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed. God has gained another wonderful angle
The man, the myth, and now a legend!
The man, the myth, and now a legend.
Dallas was a great guy. When we were in school, he was always gracious and happy to see everyone. He was honest and always smiling. I saw him maybe twice after high school, he never changed. He was missed then and will be missed now.
We said your name aloud in prayer every week at the 9:45 contemporary service. Everyone will remember you and the love you shared with the Youth Group at Stephens City UMC. Rest in God's peace.
As his fifth grade teacher at Bass-Hoover, Dallas and his classmates were a prime example of community and family. Dallas taught me (them, too, I believe)much about perseverance, patience, and perception/perspective. His classmates and I revered, supported, and treasured him and our times together. No better parents or brother did anyone have than Dallas. Although his adult years were more difficult, Dallas lived his childhood and years of youth with more spiritedly and fervor than many do in a lifetime. May your future hold many sports and games played!!!
Dallas was a sweet boy. He lived on the street behind us and went to school with my kids. Liked by all, he was involved in many school activities. So sorry to hear of your loss. He left this world a better place.
The Jones were our next door neighbors for several years and became best friends ever since. Dallas and my daughter Cassie were especially close spending the night with each other and even getting into spats like brother and sister. Dallas and my girls would often played together riding Big Wheels and catching lightning bugs. Dallas would often cracks jokes or challenge anyone who liked a different sports team than his favorites. Dallas will always have a special place in our famies hearts. Debbie and Jonesy are to be commended for giving their lives so lovingly to make Dallas' life as comfortable as possible considering his circumstances.
I remember babysitting Dallas. He always had a smile on his face and did everything he could to participate in activities throughout the day. He had a passion for life that just shined through. I have never forgotten Dallas, and I will never forget him. I will always see that precious smile when I think of him. May God Bless each of you, wrap His loving arms around you, and fill you with a peace that passes all understanding.
I remember Dallas when he was at Sherando. He always had a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor. He was not in one of my classes, but I do remember him fondly.
My favorite memories of MY MAN DALLAS are when he smiled and even laughed. Those moments were, and always will be, treasures in my heart and mind. So too the conversations that were mutually beneficial and soulfully nurturing. Dallas was a caring person, sure to ask every day" how's your foot doing" when gout struck me. as well as stepping up as defense attorney lol for old klicketty klack. on behalf of Willie..Thanks dallas. Though dealing with his own challenges, the man was so sincerely compassionate. He loved to love and he loved being love . But don't get me wrong , he was a warrior of the highest order. He said possibly his favorite movie was Braveheart. Some will recollect a film. I had the honor of knowing the man.
Dallas was a great friend since the time we met in Shop class in 8th grade at Aylor Middle School. I'll always remember him as a warm, fun-loving guy who never took himself too seriously and was friendly to everyone he met.
To a great friend with whom I share great memories - I look forward to seeing you again!
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
