Dan Dingman, 47, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Center, Winchester ending his fight with cancer.
Dan was born in 1969 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Donald Herman Dingman and the late Eileen Catherine Watzenauer. He had a warm and loving work family at Axalta Coating Systems, where he held a management position. Dan enjoyed traveling, the beach, playing bingo and corn hole, painting, woodworking and collecting elephants.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Lynn Dingman and his son, Kyle Daniel Dingman, both from Stephens City, Virginia; his father Donald Dingman, step-mother, Bonnie Wendt Dingman; sisters, Lori, Kim, and Jenny; and brothers, Kevin and Wayne, along with a very special friend, Alice Stickel.
Celebration of Life will be conducted at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Donations can be made to the family for Dan’s children to establish a memorial in Dan’s name to Blue Ridge Hospice.
