Edna W. Webster, 80, of Winchester, Virginia passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Webster was born in 1936 in Ellamore, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Denzel and Nellie Wilfong. She was a graduate of James Wood High School and wore many hats in her life. Edna was a homemaker in her own home, a school bus driver for Winchester City Public Schools and also worked at Valley Health. Her greatest joy was spending time with and taking care of her family. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with her husband, Zane. Edna thought it was always important to look your best, she always had the perfect hair and nails, and always had Extra mint chewing gum. She was a huge fan of the Redskins and Jeff Gordon, and loved driving her 2011 Synergy Green Camaro.
Mrs. Webster married Zane Kermit Webster, Sr. on November 14, 1953 in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband are sons, Zane Webster, Jr. and Todd Webster; grandchildren, Matthew Webster and Zane Webster, III (Michael Lynn); great granddaughter, Aria S. Webster; sister, Edith Armel; brothers, Randy Wilfong (Bonnie), Jack Wilfong (Kathy), and Scott Wilfong (Sally); as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Webster was preceded in death by sister, Mary Hudson and brothers, Walt and Cecil Wilfong.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum, Winchester, Virginia.
