To Chris, Carol, and Cat, and all who knew and loved her: I am so deeply sorry and heartbroken to hear of Elizabeth’s passing. When I expressed my sadness and grief, in writing online as I am prone to doing, a friend replied, “An angel has her wings.” It’s true.

Elizabeth, Looking at your picture, the world has suddenly seemed like a lonelier place without you in it. I have missed you since we parted ways. You were my teacher while we were together and in the years since. May you be at peace now. I still love you and will always. Frank

We became good friends when we were newcomers in Washington many years ago. We lost touch for awhile but recently had started talking by phone almost weekly. I always knew her as Beth. She always seemed so strong and upbeat. I looked forward to our chats. I will miss her.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
