Buzz was a wonderful friend, and when Buzz & BeeDee, lived in Orange Park Florida we Always got together and enjoyed life when we would go to their home he would always welcome everybody with a smile. Because you’re with the Lord now and you’re no longer in any pain rest in peace my friend????????
Genese Kerns left a message on October 21, 2018:
How fortunate that Buzzy became my brother-in-law when I married BeeDee's brother Donnie in 1978. Over the years, we have shared family celebrations, vacations, holidays, good times, and sad times. These are the memories we will all treasure going forward. Buzzy gave our family so much to be proud of. A stellar man -- loving husband, father, brother-in-law, grandfather, uncle and sailor. He will be missed enormously and my family is blessed to have shared the past 40 years with him and his beautiful family. We wrote your name in the sky, but the wind blew it away. We wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away. We wrote your name in our hearts, and forever it will stay. We honor a life that was lived to the full, we honor a spirit, now free. You'll long be remembered, whenever we say, "Fair winds and a following sea!"

I spent a lot of time with Buzz. In the air with Project Beartrap and at CPW-11. He was a great man to work for and with. Wish I had stayed closer in touch after I retired from USN. RIP Shipmate.

Love and miss you Freddy boy, known you in many roles from SIG ASCAC & Motta to JAX TSC to PMA-264, your time in Bermuda. MY memories of you teaching me to play golf in Sig and finding out many years later of the real hazards on that course! many nights listening to Gus & Peter A go on with their stories.
Donna Clarke left a message on October 16, 2018:
Norman Clarke and Donna Clarke are so sorry to hear of Buzz's passing. Norman flew with Buzz in a P-3, VP 56. Over the years, there have been many memories of Buzz shared in our home. He was always one of Norman's favorites in the airplane, and so personable and approachable when off duty. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
