Gloria Marie (Crabill) Johnson, age 89, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Johnson was born July 22, 1927 in Strasburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Ralph B. and Eula E. Crabill. She was a graduate of Strasburg High School and Winchester Business College. Gloria was employed as a secretary at U.S. Civil Service Commission in Washington, D.C. and Atlantic Research Corporation in Alexandria, Virginia before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.

Gloria married J. B. Johnson, Jr. on June 18, 1954 in Arlington, Virginia. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Surviving are a daughter, Heather Karyn Johnson; sons, Tracy Johnson (Janet) and Noll Horan; grandchildren, Stacy Horan Collins and Sara Horan; great-grandchildren, Neil and Brayden; and sisters, Eleanor Miller of Strasburg, VA and Oneida Seitz of Reese, MI. A sister, Dorothy Arthur preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Shenandoah Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating.
