Imogene A. Haines Baker, 88, of Frederick County, Virginia died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.
Mrs. Baker was born in 1928 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert W. Haines and Isabella F. Yeakley. She was a graduate of Handley High School, Class of 1946 and worked at National Fruit General office retiring after 30 years of service. Mrs. Baker enjoyed anything and everything related to gardening and handiwork. She was a member of Blue Ridge Grace Brethren Church.
Mrs. Baker married Ronald W. Baker on July 4, 1960 in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband is son, Glenn W. Shuster and wife, Loretta of Frederick County, Virginia and sister, Janet L. Haines of Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by a brother, Marcus V. Haines.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
All services will be private.
