James A. Winget

James Allen Winget, 55, of Bentonville, Virginia, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013.

Mr. Winget was born in 1957, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Dorothy Winget and the late Philip Winget. He was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. Mr. Winget was a Software Engineer in Washington, D.C.

He married Jeanette Stimpfel on June 24, 1995, in New York, New York.

Surviving with his wife are his sisters, Nancy Myerson and her husband, Alan of Boston, Massachusetts, Deborah Biesiadecki and husband, Jan of Accokeek, Maryland; and his brother, John Winget and wife, Tina of Elida, Ohio.

All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, will be private.

Jim, we truly miss you and our team is blessed for the team that we were able to be together. Our lives will not be the same without you, but we will always remember the great times we shared climbing up those mountains to base camp. Our next trip will be in your honor. May your soul continue to rest in peace, and its comforting to know how many lives you touched while you lived such a brilliant life on this Earth. You are truly missed by all of us and we are so grateful we shared our last visit together. You had such strong spirit and your sense of humor through it all. We will continue to remember you each day at work, and while doing things we all loved and watching our nerd movies. rest in peace our friend.

Jim, I will truly miss you. You were one of the most kind and generous people I know. I'm sorry the world has lost another kindred soul, but I'm positive you are smiling down on us. Rest in peace my friend.
