Elizabeth B. Damerel (and Edward "Eddie") left a message on July 21, 2017:
In all the time I worked for your father, Ben, there was not a day that went by that he didn't talk about both you and Watson. Never has a father been more devoted to his sons. I am sure that he would be extremely sad if he would have lived to see the departure of Watson. He looked over Watson to a fault. May God be with you in this, the last member of your immediate family to have left. I know that Marian will be of great support to you in this loss of your older brother. As well, I also express my sympathy on the loss of your parents, both of whom I loved with all my heart. With dad gone (Billy Walker) so close to the loss of your father, I have had to come to terms with the personal loss of "two dads". Your father was a tremendous support to me in all of the important events of my own life as well as your mother. Take care of yourself, Ben. You are "precious cargo" to both your mother and dad. If you ever long for a pix of your mother's Christmas trees, I have them all. love to you, Beth Damerel 754-4424

I have known Watson since the mid 70's and will miss him greatly. He was a good friend whose sense of humor was the deepest of anyone I know.
