Jeannette Harris, age 58, of Middletown, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in Rose Hill Health and Rehab Center, Berryville, Virginia.
Mrs. Harris was born in 1959, the daughter of the late James Edward Frye, Jr. and the late Rachel Virginia Corbin. Jeannette was a graduate of Loudoun Valley High School and operated her own day care business in her home. Jeannette was a fun loving, caring person who loved children and spending time with her family. She was famous for her cooking, especially her preparation of chicken feet and turkey necks. She looked forward to summer family cook outs and family reunions. Jeannette loved to dance, watch the Hallmark channel, play cards, and tweety bird.
Jeannette married Stanley Eugene Harris on June 19, 1997, in Leesburg, Virginia. He preceded her in death.
Jeannette is survived by her son, Anthony “Tony” Frye of Middletown, Virginia; grandchildren, Mariya K. Frye, Tyson D. Frye, and Rachelle F. Frye; and a great-grandchild, Elina S. Mirhosseini.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Omps, South Chapel.
A service will be immediately following the visitation on Thursday, beginning at 8:00 pm at South Chapel with Pastor Alan Morrison officiating. Interment will be private.
