When I was growing up and would visit Mamaw and Papaw, John would climb high in the tallest Cherry tree they had and when he saw me, he would start singing "Sherrod and Sam, look where I am" and I'd search the branches until I found him and that would make him laugh. Mom said he was raised as their brother and she sends her love. We didn't see him often but we will miss knowing he's there. Sending you our love and prayers.
