Leslie Allen “Les” Seal, 80, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Friday, February 12, 2016, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Seal was born in 1936, in Toms Brook, Virginia, the son of the late Alice and Roy Seal. He was a graduate of Toms Brook High School. Mr. Seal was a Veteran of the United States Air Force achieving the rank of Master Sergeant and retiring in 1978. He served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Valley Bible Church in Stephens City, Virginia. Mr. Seal was a member of Gideon’s International and supported many missionaries. He was very interested in computers and loved to travel.
He married Rachel Carper on October 12, 2003, in Cross Junction, Virginia.
His first wife, Susan Hiroko Seal, preceded him in death on July 2, 2002.
Surviving with his wife are his daughters, Deborah Cheney and husband, Marc, of Winchester, Virginia, Diana Smith and husband, John, of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren John Smith, Julie Smith and Heidi Smith; step grandson, Lucas Thompson and three other step grandchildren; two step-daughters; a step-son; five step-great grandchildren; sister, Greta Luttrell of Woodstock, Virginia; brother, Boyd Seal and wife, Margo, of Moses Lake, Washington.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, briefly before the service, at Valley Bible Church.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 PM at Valley Bible Church, 578 Double Church Rd, Stephens City, VA with Pastor Calvin Lowder officiating. Interment will be private.
