S. Scott Brown, 71, of Winchester, Virginia, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.

Mr. Brown was born in 1944 in Winchester, Virginia the son of the late Elvira and Melvin H. Brown. He was a graduate of John Handley High School, Class of 1964. Mr. Brown was a Veteran having served in the United States Air Force. He was retired from Rubbermaid Corporation. Mr. Brown was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Winchester.

Surviving is his wife, Janice M. Brown, daughter, Brenda Gayle Brown, sons, David Brandon Scott Brown (Kizzy) and Logan Scott Brown; grandchildren Sophia & Kasia; his sister, June B. Chapman (Al): nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private.
