Patricia Elaine Truzinski, 82, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Truzinski was born in 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Ernest and Beatrice Swanson. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1952. Mrs. Truzinski was a co-owner of Alphagraphics in Denver, Colorado. In her younger years, she was an avid runner, once winning the senior division in the Berryville Turkey Trot. She loved animals, big and small, and would give them the best possible home. She enjoyed tea time, especially with her children and grandchildren; she was an avid reader and practiced Tai Chi. Mrs. Truzinski was a dedicated Nationals fan, never missing a game and knowing every player and every stat. Her greatest weakness was chocolate, but her greatest passion was her family. A loving mother, grandmother, and sister will be missed.
Her husband of 43 years, Charles G. Truzinski, preceded her in death in 2000.
Surviving are daughters, Karen Lennon of Winchester, Virginia, and Pam Lettie and her husband, Tim, of Berryville, Virginia; grandchildren, Katie Lettie of Boston, Massachusetts, Sara Lettie residing in Uganda, and Allison Lettie of Falls Church, Virginia; and brother, Don Swanson of Apple Valley, Minnesota.
A Memorial Service will be at 11 am on Saturday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Alan Morrison officiating.
