Jane Buchbauer left a message on July 24, 2018:
I will always see Patrick in my mind’s eye as the boy in my middle school classroom—full of mischief and loved by his friends. The last time I saw Patrick was at Sacred Heart Cemetary as he prepared to bury my little, stillborn granddaughter. In his kind, simple way, Patrick came over to me, said, “I’m so sorry, Mrs. B, and gave me a hug. His gentle, caring hug will always stay with me as I remember in better days. Much love and many prayers at this incredibly sad time for us all.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I lost my beautiful daughter so I know what you are going through. You will get through it, but not over it. Parents were not meant to bury their children. But God will be with you to comfort you. And may your memories give you peace and bring a smile within your heart again.
