Stuart Michael Perry, III, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away at the age of 49 on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at home.
Stuart was born in 1969 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Stuart M. Perry, II and Pamela L. Tubandt; stepson of Rosalie Palumbo Perry. He was a graduate of James Wood High School. Stuart was self-employed as a local landscaper. He was a member of the North-South Skirmish Association and Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Aside from Stuart’s family, what he cherished the most was his childhood, growing up with his friends at “Pumpkin Square”; Civil War history and relic hunting; and his love of their cats, which he called “his girls”.
Surviving with his parents and stepmother is fiancé, Jerri DeHart; brother, Clay Perry and his wife, Pamela; step-brother, Jay Perry and his wife, Carolyn; and step-sister, Maury Brown.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 3 pm to 5 pm on Sunday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a Celebration of Life service at 5 pm with Pastor Tom Reynolds officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Perry, Jay Perry, Taylor Perry, Mickey Perry, Sam Simpson, Manuel Simpson, Joe Case, Rodney Snapp, Scott Snapp, Rob Snapp, Michael Brill, and Timmy Meadows.
