Thomas “Tom” Roger Patrick, 64, of Rosedale, Virginia, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, with his wife, Linda and son, Shawn by his side.
Mr. Patrick was born in 1954 in Lebanon, Virginia, the son of the late Delphia and Thomas Patrick Jr. He was a graduate of Richlands High School and was a supervisor at Simmons Rand and Mantis Crane Corporation in Richlands, Virginia and Appalachian Cast in Abingdon, Virginia. Tom enjoyed fishing, boating, and loved woodworking. He attended Dennison United Methodist Church, Rosedale, Virginia.
Tom married Linda Lou Steffey on August 31, 1991 in Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
Surviving with his wife of 26 years are daughters, Jessica Michelle Patrick and Kristin Leighann Rhea (Monty); sons, Shawn McKinley Steffey (Kelly) and Kevin Wayne Steffey; grandchildren, Julianna Nicole and Andrea Cheyenne Duty; Kylie Ann and Madison MacKenna Rhea; Meghan Elizabeth and Luke McKinley Steffey; sister, Sherry Meadows (Bob); and extended family, Tyler Newcome (Tracey) and their children, Emma and Ethan.
Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Patrick and brothers, Jeffrey Scott and Steven Shane Patrick.
In honoring Tom’s wishes a memorial service will be held at a later date.

In Memory-of my big brother . Tom three years already

Linda we are so sorry for your loss. We will never forget the good times bowling with you and Tom. I will also think of Tom every time I see my little wood men light up at night. Love you!

For my 1st cousin that I loved dearly. Once upon a time I spent the weekend with Tommy and Sherry and the family and we all went to the lake. I can't remember how old we were but probably about 10 me and Sherry. Tommy was about 12. We were playing in the water and Sherry was trying to teach me to swim. I was maybe doing pretty good and then all of a sudden I was jerked down and, I like to have never caught my breathe. Guess what happened, my dear cousin Tommy was playing a prank with us and pulled me under. We still had lots of fun in the water but I sure kept an eye on Tommy for sure.
