What to Bring

We will help you every step of the way and add to your list based on our experience. Here is a checklist of everything you may need for your first arrangements with us:

  • Social Security number of person who has died
  • Discharge papers or Active Service papers
  • Insurance policies
  • Deeds to burial property
  • Driver’s license
  • List of pallbearers or honorary pallbearers
  • List of favorite music, Bible verses or poetry – if none are preferred, we have a full music library with suggestions
  • Correct spelling of deceased and all surviving family members names
  • Church affiliation with preferred clergy person or other officiant for us to contact – if none are preferred, we can help
  • List of affiliations from work or charitable organizations
  • Photos of the deceased, including family and friends, hobbies and places traveled
  • Clothing for the deceased, including undergarments
  • Jewelry if applicable

If you are not able to bring these items we can help you. Families often like to know what will be needed so they can simplify the process.
