Bertie Jane Mullins, 72, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Evergreen Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Mullins was born in 1947 in Leesburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Thomas Wright, Sr. She attended Loudoun County High School. Mrs. Mullins retired from the Frederick County Public School System, where she had been a cafeteria worker at Stonewall Elementary School.
Her husband, Freddie Mullins, whom she married on December 23, 1965 in Leesburg, Virginia preceded her in death in 2013.
Surviving is a daughter, Barbara Hawes (Daren) of Winchester, Virginia; sons, Mike and Ray (Tracy) Mullins of Winchester, Virginia, Doug and Roy (Stacy) Mullins of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; grandchildren, Kristen Mullins and Nicole Godinez both of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Ashley Riley of Middletown, Virginia, Tyler Munson, Matthew Hawes, Michelle and Stephanie Delgado, all of Winchester, Virginia; and six great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Freddie, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kayla Mullins; great grandson, Drake Davis; sister, Irene Hawes; and brother, Thomas Edward Wright, Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm on Monday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with a funeral service at 1:30 pm with Pastor Alan Morrison officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
