Bob and Family, Trying to find you [Bob], I came across this obituary of your beautiful wife and would like to offer my sincere condolences for you great loss. I know it's very late but I just found it and you can understand. I have not seen you since leaving Bladensburg in 85 after spending 5 challenging but rewarding years at the department. I remember meeting Faye at your Brandywine home where you and Fay had given several parties for the officers and staff of the department. A most gracious and classy Lady, "your better half", as you used to say. Anyway, please accept my condolences and I hope to contact you in the near future to maybe talk about the "good old days". As they sure were... Respectfully, your former Sergeant, Ray Pollard

Bob, Our entire Flynn family sends condolences regarding the lose of Faye Zidek. She was the only grandmother my children James Jr and Chris ever knew from my side of the family. She looked after my family like we were her own. She was the calm for Pat and I in many cases during stormy times, as were you. You and Faye will never be forgotten in this home. God Bless you and Faye Zidek.

What a tremendous loss. Mrs. Zidek was a shining light who made the world a much better place. She always made me feel so welcome in the Zidek home during those years when I was growing up with her kids in Camp Springs. She included me in so many family outings that she become a second mother to me. I learned much from Mr. & Mrs. Zidek and the most valuable lesson was to give from the heart. My sincerest condolences to the entire Zidek family. I share in your heartache.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
