John W. “Lucky” Breeden, 57, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Friday, January 18, 2019, at his home.
Lucky was born in 1961 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Anna Breeden and the late Howard Breeden. He attended James Wood High School and was a construction worker with Lizer Investments. Lucky enjoyed working, fishing, hunting, and old Ford trucks.
Surviving are sons, Curtis Breeden (Brandi) and Justin Breeden, all of Cross Junction, Virginia; grandchild, Daimian Breeden of Cross Junction, Virginia; sisters, Edith Mason (Ralph) of Bloomery, West Virginia and Ester Ludwick (Larry) of Paw Paw, West Virginia; and brother, Edward Breeden (Jessie) of Winchester, Virginia.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with an open mic invitation at 7:45 pm.

John always worked hard everyday 7 days a week and would do anything for anybody , He was like family, he will always be missed my hearts go to his whole family. He will dearly be missed always. I am sorry to hear about Johns passing, he was a good guy and we had a lot of laughs working at Brookfield Brookfield Apartments. I know he will surely be missed by all those who knew him.
