I was saddened to hear of Judy's death when reading the Loudoun Times Mirror, December 7, 2018. Judy and I taught together at Hamilton Elementary School in the years prior to our retirements. Judy was an amazing teacher - intelligent, passionate about her students, committed to every initiative, kind, gentle, and giving. I always enjoyed times we shared together in conversation both about education and our families. She was loved by the entire school staff and the children. Judy will be remembered for her untiring devotion to school, her optimistic view of the world, her empathic listening ability, and her patience and understanding of both children and adults. Judy, let your wings guide you to Heaven's Door.
