Marcia “Pat” H. Hudson, 85, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at her home.

Mrs. Hudson was born in 1933 in New York, New York, the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Honour. She was a graduate of East Orange High School in New Jersey and a graduate of Clarke-Frederick-Warren-Winchester School of Practical Nursing. Mrs. Hudson successfully passed the state licensure exam and worked as a substitute LPN for Frederick County School system and retired from Shawnee Springs Nursing Home. She was a member of Winchester Lioness Club and a member of First Christian Church in Winchester.

Her husband, Terry C. Hudson, whom she married on November 24, 1990 in Winchester, Virginia, preceded her in death in 2002.

Surviving are daughters, Eleanor Campbell Honour-Shoemaker of Winchester, Virginia and Janice Overbaugh of Charleston, West Virginia; grandchildren, Kayla Cheyenne Jewell and Cody Wayne Fontaine both of Winchester, Virginia, and Zachary Hudson Overbaugh of Charleston, West Virginia; and great grandchildren, Aidan Jewell, Zane Jewell, and Bella Fontaine.

Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by a brother, John H. Honour, Sr.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday at First Christian Church, 75 Merrimans Lane, Winchester, Virginia with Pastor Mike Moulden and Reverend Alan Gray officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Stephens City, Virginia. A fellowship meal will follow the interment at First Christian Church.
