Dear Joan, so sorry to have missed Helen's services, I love you both. George was sick and we could not go anywhere. He is better now. Your Mom was such a wonderful person, we always enjoyed being with you guys. She had a good life, was always smiling. We called her "Joan's Mom". I will treasure the pictures we have of FEMA retirements with you and Mom in them. Take care. Praying for you. Carolyn and George

I have know the Funkhouser Family for the past 5 yrs. I have had to opportunity to work with Joan and Anthony over these years. I finally got to meet Helen "Mama" and it was great to meet someone with such a beautiful soul and personality. I told Joan she was truly an angel among us. This past February we had dinner with Joan, Mama, and my family. We shared a lot of laughs and smiles. My family was touched by her personality and her ability to continuously smile. My family and I send our deepest condolences to Joan and Anthony but we know Mama will be guiding them with her wings from above.
