BLOUGH, Sandra Lee “Sandi”, 68, of Star Tannery, Va., died Friday, August 21, 2009, in Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Blough was born in 1941 in Richmond, Va., the daughter of Sylvia Kidd and the late Francis Kidd. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. Mrs. Blough was a lifetime member of the Shenandoah Council of the Girl Scouts of America as well as a Girl Scout leader. She married Robin Blough on July 28, 1973, in Alexandria, Va. Surviving with her mother of Charlottesville, Va. and her husband are three daughters, Jennifer Rossi of Clearwater, Fla., Melissa Stone of the Republic of Kosovo, Katharine Blough of Star Tannery, Va.; one son, Josiah Blough and his wife, Stephanie of Gainesboro, Va.; three grandchildren, Sylvester Rossi, Gabril Rossi, Isabella Blough; and her brother, William Kidd and his wife, Carol of Myrtle Beach, S.C. One son, Noah Blough, preceded her in death. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend George J. Reed officiating. Interment will be in Gainesboro Cemetery, Gainesboro, Va. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
